HOW IS MY ORDER SENT?
All orders are sent out by overnight courier .
WILL MY ORDER BE KEPT COLD?
All orders are carefully packaged in the very best in chilled packaging with ice blocks to make sure that your smoked trout arrives in tip top condition.
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
Up to 10 days in the fridge. Each packet of trout has a best before sticker on on the back. Once opened it should be consumed within 3 days.
HOW CAN I KEEP MY TROUT FRESH?
Each order will include a zip lock bag so that you can keep your trout lovely and fresh in the fridge once it has been opened.
Top Tip from Charlie - To enjoy your trout at it's best, let it breathe for 10 minutes before serving.
IS IT SUITABLE FOR FREEZING?
Yes it is. It has not been previously frozen and it suitable for freezing for up to 3 months. Please freeze on day of purchase.
Can I send it as a gift?
Yes, of course! Just add the address of where you want it sent, when you order, and leave your personalised message. We will wrap a beautiful ribbon around the trout and add your note to one of our gift tags.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST FOR DELIVERY?
We charge £5.95 for all UK mainland addresses this will be added at the checkout. For Highlands & Islands the delivery cost is £20 and you'll need to select the appropriate option at checkout. For all other destinations please contact the office and we will do our upmost to help.

We are no longer able to take orders for Christmas delivery but our next shipping date is 11th January (and you can place an order any time).
Our trout is so fresh we don’t carry stock on the site, we only catch and smoke the trout when you place your order. The preparation and smoking process takes between 3-6 days, with delivery to the customer on Fridays.
If you wish to place more than one order, there are a number of options listed at checkout. If the appropriate option is not listed, please email the office with the details and addresses and we will take care of everything including ringing you back for payment.
